How to Seize your Future Today

How to Seize your Future Today

The prosperity of your soul isn’t God’s sole desire for you. God wants His children to take their place on earth. He desires that we enjoy all round success. Christians frequently shy away from positions of power. However, this shouldn’t be the case! So how do you seize your future today?

Here are four things that will help you seize your future today:

1. Vision

Like our faith’s patriarchs, you must first believe it is possible. When God gives you a vision, He will fulfil it, no matter how impossible it may seem at the time. Rather than worrying about your current situation, start doing what God has placed on your heart. You need to do away with the survival mentality for you to seize your future. Sometimes, the convenience of a good time can hinder you from the best time that God wants you to experience. Walking with God’s vision for the future demands boldness from you.

2. Excellence

Excellence is a necessity if you must seize your future today. God’s grace is not an excuse to be lazy or mediocre. If you’re in a saturated industry, the only way to rise to the top is by being so excellent that you can’t be ignored. When executing God-sized visions, you must do it well because everything divine is excellent. Mediocrity is something you should never be known for.

Look at Daniel— he was a devout prophet who was known all over Babylon for his faith in God, yet notwithstanding he was an excellent politician.  If your inspiration comes from God, it must show in the quality of work you put out. The believer has no reason to be complacent. Make it a mission to constantly improve. The trends are constantly changing and to reach more souls, we have to evolve.

3. Prayer

In prayer, we receive strength for the work ahead of us. You can receive the blueprints that will equip you to seize your future in prayer. Praying is recognising that you have a master and caring father in God. When we don’t pray, we are implying that we can do it without God and that is pride. It’s good to pray o!

4. Praise

Many people think that gratitude is shown only when good things happen. However, that’s not true. A heart filled with ingratitude hinders you from receiving from God. So praise him today. Be thankful even when things aren’t going as you’d like them to. In fact, a posture of thankfulness births creativity in your life. As you try to seize your future today, emulate Jesus and give thanks always, no matter where you are or what is going on. We must learn to see God’s goodness at all times.

As Christians, having a great future doesn’t have to be daunting, especially since we have an advantage— The Holy Spirit in us. With these principles, you are surely on the right track to seize your future today!

Let us know in the comments section how this blessed you and how you plan to implement these guiding principles.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
